Quiet Observance on Tuesday Marks Golden Wedding Date For Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Flohra* * *Members of Family Guests at HomeIn Evening * * *Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Fiohra of York Township quietly observed their golden wedding anniversary Tuesday, February 20. In the evening members of the immediatefamily joined them for a social hour.The Flohras live on a farm in York Township where they have long been residents. Mr. Flohra, a native of Union County, Iowa, is 71 years old. He came to Van Wert County with his parents when he was only eight months old and has since lived here. Mrs, Flohra is 70 years old and was a native of Van Wert County.They are parents of four children, all of whom are living. They are Mrs. Charles Prichard and Mrs. J. Russell Prichard of York Township, Marion Flohra of East Crawford Street, and Mrs. Eugene Boyer of Spencerville. They have two grandsons, Edwin and J. Noble Prichard.• * *president; Mrs. C. P. R. Phares and Mrs. O. C. Gilpin presented the program for the meeting of the Altrurian Club Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. John Albright on South Market Street, and told about their hobbies.Mrs. Phares told the group about early American glass and majolica which she makes her hobby. She showed some of her specimens in connection with her talk. Majolica is a kind of pottery with opaque glazing and showy decoration, which reached its greatest perfection in Italy in the 16th century, and which has been imitated in modern times. Mrs. Gilpin, whose hobby is flower arrangement, demonstrated her talk with several floral arrangements.Mrs. J. F.
