Pilot Gillam left An-; chorage the next day for Cordova, j intending to return to his bride in ia few days.We plan to go to Cordova to i make ci r heme as soon « Harold returns for me.” Mrs. Giilam said.She was formerly the wife cf lt;L. McGee, who recently resigned as j manager cf the Star Air Service ,of Anchorage, and who is now nun-ing in the Koyukuk. Mr. Gillam is I one of the best know n Alaska flying aces. He was with Joe Crosson jon the famous flight in which the last plane cf Carl Ben EieLson was found. He now operates an air service in the Cordova and Copper River area, and is a frequent visitor here.Both have many friends in Alaska who wish them the best of ; luck. |
