Mr. and Mrs. James Ashburn of Spencer observed their 60th wedding anniversary Sunday. This couple have lived in Clay county for 58 years and have helped in building up that community. Mr. Ashburn saw service in the Union army during the Civil War and he is nearing his 84th year. They are the parents of nine children, eight of whom are living. . .
