(Evans Photo)MRS. MARVIN B. CLARKBrodhead Pair Say VowsMiss Rosalie Mary Flynn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Flynn, Brodhead, became the bride of Marvin B. Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Clark, Brodhead, today, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. in St. Rose Catholic Church, Brodhead. Rev. Wilbert Shea officiated.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an empire gown of silk organza and Chantilly lace, trimmed with pearls and featuring a batteau neckline and a watteau train which fell into chapel length.Her pearled petal headdress held a bouffant veil of silk illusion. She carried a lavender orchid surrounded by a cascade of white mums.Miss Colleen Drew, Milton, was the maid of honor. She wore an empire style floor-length gown fashioned with bishop sleeves and featuring a lavender crepe bodice and a purple skirt, with a lace-trimmed waistline. She also wore a velvet choker and a velvet wide-brimmed hat, and carried lavender and white mums.Bridesmaids were Miss Annamarie Flvnn. sister of thebride, and Mrs. Joseph Kun-dert. both of Brodhead. Their gowns were similiar to that worn by the maid of honor but featured lavender rose bodices of crepe and wine velvet skirts.Donald Damon, Madison, soloist, sang, “Because”; “Oh Lord Most Holy,” and “The Wedding Song,” accompanied by Mrs. Raymond Homb, Brodhead, organist.Paul Clark, Brodhead, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Flynn, brother of the bride, and Fred Searles, both of Brodhead.Charles Sors and Richard Flynn, brother of the bride, Brodhead, were ushers.Following the wedding, a luncheon reception was held in the Bank of Brodhead Courtesy Room. Servers were Mmes. Richard Flynn. Paul Clark, Patrick Flynn, Robert Flynn, Keith Church and Barry Sauer, and Misses Kathleen Buehler and Shelley Flynn. Mrs. Ronald Knutson, rural Brodhead, was in charge of the guest book.Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Clark hosted a rehearsal dinner Friday evening.The bride, a 1968 graduate of Brodhead High School, is employed at the Swiss Colony Data Center. Monroe. Mr. Clark is employed at Chuck’s Standard Service, Brodhead. The couple plans to reside in Brodhead.
