Mrs. Par-tain, the groom’s mother, wore navy blue crepe with white trim. Both mothers wore iris corsages.Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors. The table was covered with a hand crocheted cloth and centerpiece was a tiered wedding cake flanked by crystal candelabra holding lighted candles.Assisting at the table were Mrs. Robert Pitts, aunt of the bride; Mrs. Charles Turner, sister of the groom; Mrs. Har:y Curtis and Mrs. Ralph Cully. Miss Jane Bedell had charge of the guest book.Mr. and Mrs. Partain will reside in Seneca, Mo., where he is employed. #Partainfolds at the waist ended in a large bustle bow at the back. Her only ornament was a double string of pearls. A shoulder veil bound in the rose taffeta was caught to a dutch cap. She carried a white Bible topped with lavender iris.Miss Frieda Denney, sister ofmatching cap, and a jonquil corsage. Janice Kay Denney, sister of the bride, was flower girl.
