At 130 o'clock, the time specified in the invitations, the Synagogue was crowded to it* utmost capacity. Not only was all the silting room taken, but every inch of standing room was packed, and many were obliged to go away without being oble to obtain even a glimpse of the inside of the Synagogue. TUo building, although it was broad daylight, was lighted by gaa, every burner, and there wore many of thorn, being in fall blaze. Tho offcct of commingling daylight aud gas light was pleasant. There wore no decorations about llie church, everytbiug being plain. To many it was somewhat strange to notice that nil the gentlemen present kept their hals on during the cutiro ceremony.Shortly before two o'clock the wedding party arrived ut the synagogue. Several other tonsts were given and drank standing.Daring the dinner Bach's orchestra gave the1' guests some choice music. Among the pieces played were selections from tho Earbor of Seville and overture to the opera of William Tell.THE DANCETo many the dance at Music Hall, set down for tho evening, was a loading feature of the entertainment... At all evonls, when 6 o'clock camo, tho latge hall was already well filled, aud when finch's orchestra struck up the “Marche Isabeau tho floor was filled by the promenading party. The march was writton by Bach, . and dedicated to the bride. Its execution was excellent, and the inarch itself will become a standard work.
