They were married Sunday evening at the Base Chapel at Cabaniss Field.The bride is the former Betty Jo Doeden, who lived at 1316 Santa Fe. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. George William Doeden of Fulda, Minn. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Henry [Await of Route 4.K. M. Hearn, chaplain. US NR, read the double ring service. Wilson, Phi Mu sorority. was installed as chairman of Panhellenic Council at a meeting Tuesday night at the Nueces Hotel.Other new officers installed wereMrs. W. G. Snider. Tapers in candelabra lighted the sanctuary.Waltz-LengthiThe bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a waltz length dress of nylon tulle over taffeta. It was designed with a tucked bodice and a gathered peplum of imported nylon Chantilly lace. The fingertip chapel veil of nylon illusion was edged with lace and attached to a lace crown. Her bouquet was a white orchid surrounded by ranunculus.Mrs. Virgil Reichert attended her sister as matron of honor, and Miss DeVona Rothenbuehler w'as maid of honor. Roy Alexander of Port Lavaca was his brother’s best man. Bob Reese, USN, was groomsman and Norman T. Doeden, a brother of the bride.ushered.At the reception at the Crystal Room of the Nueces Hotel, Miss Pat Carter served the two tiered wedding cake.As the couple left on a wedding trip, the bride wore a brown wool suit with pink accessories. Her corsage was an orchid.Schools AttendedThe bride attended Fulda F'gh School in Fulda, Minn., and Mankato Commercial College in Mankato, Minn. The groom, recently returned to the U n i t ed States after four years overseas, Is stationed at Cabaniss Field.Among the out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. George VV. Doeden, Norman T. Doeden and Murray A. Doeden. all of Fulda, Minn.; Mrs. Virgil J. Reichert of Sioux Falls, S. D.; Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Alexander of Dallas Mr. and Mrs. Rov Alexander of Port' wLavaca and Mr. and Mrs. Joel Solman of Ingleside.
