Richman-ShifflettSheila K, Richman and Vernon D, Shifflett, both of Winchester, were married in a winter wedding in a candlelight ceremony at Old Bethel United Methodist Church.The Rev. Ron Litten performed the ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen K. Richman of Winchester.The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy C. Shifflett of Winchester.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a traditional white wedding gown of sheer organza over taffeta. Her headpiece was a came-lot cap of silk venise lace and pearls, With a fingertip length veil of French illusion. Her bouquet was a cascade of white rosebuds, poinsettias, baby’s breath, and pine.Alison McBride of Winchester was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Nancy Lemley and Tina Bauserman of Winchester.Dale Rinker of Winchester was theMR. AND MRS. VERNON D. SHIFFLETTbest man. Ushers were Homer Spears of Winchester and Jeff Green of Mt, Williams.A reception was held at the Cabaret Lounge,The bride is a 1980 graduate of James Wood High School.The groom is a 1981 graduate of James Wood High School,The couple will reside in Winchester.
