Goetchius of Rrookton-dale, formerly of Monroe, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Susan Ann, to Robert Alvin Creed, son of Mr. and Mrs. S, Alvin Creedof Columbia, S.C.Miss Goetchius is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Prank H. Pavek of Monroe.Miss Goetchius is a graduate of Monroe-Wood-bury Central High School and is now attending the College of Agriculture at Cornell University.* * *Her fiance attended Dreher High School in Columbia and The Citadel, both in South Carolina. He is now attending Cornell completing his Master of Science degree in civil engineering. He is a partner in the George A. Creed and Son General Contracting Company in Columbia,An August 23 wedding is planned.
