Methodist Ceremony UnitesJanice Coll insThe Methodist Temple in Port Arthur was the setting for the marriage of Miss Janice Collins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Collins, 204 Chicago, and David Pbole, son of Mrs. Matilda Poole and the late Ernest Poole, 3010 Lombardy Drive Port Arthur. Dr. L. Eugene Harris read the rites at4:00 p. m. , Sunday,February 14.The bride wore a white lace over taffeta, ballerina length dress fashioned with a sculptured bodice extending to a point at the waistline. The rounded neckline was outlined with seguins and pearls. The dress had short sleeves and a fully gath -ered skirt. Her headpiece was a cap of lace outlined with seguins and pearls. She carried a bouquet of white sweetheart rosebuds centered with a white orchid.Miss Qenda Reeves of Nederlandserved as maid of honoe with Peggy Martin of Beaumont as bridesmaid. They wore street length dresses of blue satin made with fitted bodice tshort puffed sleeves and round neckline. They wore white accessories and carried nosegays of pink rosebuds.The flower girls, Caren Gail Hallmark and Patricia Martin, wore dresses of pink satin made in similar fashion to those of the honor at-tendents and they carried miniature bouquets of pink rosebuds.David Thompson of Port Arthur attended as best man and Calvin Ray Hallmark of Nederland served as groomsman. The bride’s brothers, Benny and Gerald Collins seated the guests.The reception was held in the church parlor where the bride’s table was laid with a white lace cloth and centered with the bridal bouquet« The white, three-tiered cake was- David Pooletopped with a miniature^bride and groom and was served by Mrs. G. E. Hallmark, the bride's sister. Mrs. Elton Thompson of Port Arthur presided at the punch bowl and Dorothy Lee Poole, the bridegroom's sister, registered the guests.For travel the bride wore a black outfit made with a fitted bodice, full skirt, three-quarter-length sleeves and a scoop neckline extending to a V. in back. She wore an orchid corsage. Upon their return they will reside in Amelia.
