Ruth Holdoway Becomes Bride of Wayne CollinsWith only relatives attending theceremony performed in candlelight, MissRuth Holdoway became the bride ofW avne Collins last Saturdav afternoon • •at 4 :d0 o’clock, in the home of her parent.-, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert K. Holdoway, 72a Forest avenue, W ilmette. Spring Howers were arranged throughout the house for the ceremony, at which the Rev. lohn G. Hindlev of the Congregational church officiated, and for the reception for fifty guests, which followed.The bride was dressed in a gray-blue suit trimmed in beige fur, and wore a beige hat, beige shoes, and gloves. She carried a beige handbag and wore orchids. Her only attendant, Mrs. King Williams of Chicago Heights, wore a two-piece beige silk suit, a brown hat and shoes, and green orchids. Mrs. Holdoway was in brown chiffon.Fred Broughton of W ilmette acted as best man for Mr. Collins, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Collins of Omaha, Neb.'fhe bridge and bridegroom departed immediately for Omaha, where thev will make their home.Among those who entertained for Mrs. Collins before her marriage were her aunt, Mrs. Robert Zimmerman of Wilmette, Miss Jessie Matte-son of Chicago, who gave a handkerchief shower; Mrs. King Williams of Chicago Heights, who was hostess at a luncheon; and Mrs. j. M. Bryant of Evanston, who entertained at luncheon and bridge at Shawnee Country club.Out-of-town guests were Mr. Holdo-way’s mother, Mrs. Edwin Holdoway, and his brother, William Holdoway,both of St. Louis.
