Collins, which took , pice at 8:130 o’clock, Tuesday, Feb- / ruary 8, at St, Patrick’s church, Liz- r ard, Iowa, Rev. Father Coleman officiating. James Gilligan and Lawrence Doyle served the mass.Proceeding the ceremony, Misses Grace and Esther Collins played Mndeissohn wedding march.The bride was daintily gowned in chiffon over white satin and wore a wreath and veil. She carried a bouquet of pink roses. Miss Bernice Gilligan, sister of the bride, who was becomingly gowned in blue satin, with hat to match, acted as brides maid and Mr. James Collins, brother of the groom acted as best man.After the ceremony the immediate relatives and intimate friends were invited to the home of the bride, where a sumptous three-course dinner was served by the Misses Angela, Esther and Grace Collins, Mary, Nellie Drealan and Irent Reiter. The tables were beautifully decorated in a color scheme of pink and 'white.The bride is the charming and accomplished daughter of Mrs. Catherine Gilligan. She is one of the most worthy and respected young ladies of our community and she has a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. Miss Gilligan is a graduate of St. John's high school 0f Gilmore City and for the past two years has been a successful teacher in Pocahontas ciunty. She has always taken an active part in the social and religious life of the community and it will indeed be pleasing news to her man* friends to know that she is to make her home in their midst.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J, P, Collins. He is a gentle-man of sterling character and ability and is industrious and thrifty. He is one of rhe progressive and capable young farmers of this community and has nil the qualifications to make him worthy of the lady of his choice.Their many friends extend heartycongratulations to them and wish them a long and happy wedded career.
