MISS ETHEL EDGERTON MARRIES * MR. E. 0. WELCHCeremony Performed at the Home of the Bride’s Parents, Dr. and Mrs. W. W. EdgertonOne of the prettiest home weddings sol%nnized in Chillicothe for some time was that of Miss Eva Ethel Edgerton and Mr. Edgar O. Welch, which took place at the home of the bride’s parents, Dr. and Mrs. W. W. Edger.oD, Monday morning.Promptly at ten o’clock the bride, gowned in a blue traveling suit and carrying a beautiful bouquet of white roses, entered the parlors on the arm of her father, whore she met Mr. Welch and his best man, Mr. Forrest Gill. Dr. A. M. Griffin, rector of Grace Episcopal church, met the couple in the center of the room where the ceremony was performed. The ring ceremony was used. Miss Nell Sheetz was bridesmaid.After the ceremony the wedding party were escorted to the dining room where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was served, after which the bride and bridegroom were driven to the Burlington station where they departed for Canton, Mo., the old home of the tridegroom. After several days’ visit at that place Mr. and Mrs. Welch will go to Texas, where they will spend a month.Miss Edgerton is well known in Chillicothe having lived the greater part of her life in this city. She is* the only daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W, W. Edgerton. She is a young lady well liked by her associates with a bright mind and a sweet disposition. She is a graduate cf the Chillicothe High school.Mr. Welch formerly held the position of operator at the local Burlington depot but of late has been operator for the Oregon Short line at Nampa, Utah. He is a popular young man and has a bright future before Ihim.There were about ten intimate friends in attendance at the ceremony.
