The following from the Quincy II- ^ linois Journal refers to a brother of 1 Bernard Wilper of north Alton: 1 “Today is the tweutyfifth wedding .anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Henry 1 •Wilper of Eleventh and Chestnut. This morning at seven-thirty mass . was said for them at St. John’s Cath- “ blic church. Christina Welchert and -Henry Wilper were marrried at WienMissouri February third 1880 by \] Father Stanislaus Niemann. They t resided at Wein for four years and [ then moved to tbeir large farm near Granville Iowa where they resided for \ twenty years. Last spring they pur- \ chased the property where they live £ now and moved to Quincy—Mrs. Wilper’s childhood home. They? have no children. A large reception ' will be given to their relatives and ' friends h* their home and the worthy -couple will receive the good wishes of all who know them. They are M numbered among the city's most lt;estimable people and that they may ] live to enjoy many more years of happy married life is the wish of all ] who know them.” Mrs. Wilper is a ; sister of Mrs. Henry Sarbum who ! with her husband recently moved from Granville vicinity up to Litch-ville North Dakota. 1
