Fa-'ther Ken Gross officiated at the double ring ceremony. Scripture selections were read by the bride's sister Colleen. Church decorations includedtwo baskets of pink and blue chrysanthemum behind the altar.Organist Mrs. Richard Richter presented, a medley of modern love songs and accompanied the bride's sister Joanie, Bute soloist, as the latter played “If’, “He”, and “Ave Maria preceding the nuptial rites. Organist and flutist also played “A Time For Us” during the lighting of the unity candle by the bridal couple. Organ processional and recessional were “We’veOnly. Just Begun and On Top Of The World.’*Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of creamy white satin with, empire waist and high neckline. Bodice, skirt, and sleeves featured lace inlays; small covered buttons on the back and sleeves provided additional detail. Tlie veil of net with lace trim fell to her waist from a white crushed velvet cap; the cap was adorned with pearls and a pink velvet rib-' bon. The bridal bouquet was a nosegay of white carnations, pink rose buds, white baby’s breath, blue dried flowers, green leaves, and royal blue velvet streamers.Mrs. Gary (Melsnie) Cock-erham, Colorado Springs, Colo,, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a deep blue crushed velvet gown with short sleeves and lace trim around the neck and sleeves. Bridesmaids were Carol Hartley, Anita, and Li-ann Holiday, Omaha,- Nebr., Their long dresses were pale pink and were similar to the matron of honor. All carried nosegay bouquets of pink spider mums, baby's breath, white net and pink streamers centered with a blue candle.Joe Finneli of Atlantic was best man; groomsmen were Terry Calhoun of Atlantic and Gary Cockerham, brother of, the bridegroom and brother-in-law of the bride, respectively. Ushers were Pat Cassell,Iowa City, brother of thebride, and Marty Mar desen of Anita. Men in the wedding party wore light blue tuxedos trimmed with dark blue velvet; also dark blue bow ties and light blue ruffled shirts.Mother of the bride wore a long sleeved gown with maroon bodice, maroon andwhite skirt with a pattern df white flowers. The groom's mother wore a short-sleeved medium blue gown, accented with a dark blub design. The bride's grandmother, Mrs; Carol Cassell, Jamestown, . N. • Dak., wore a long dress of dark blue silk. Other special. guests were the bridegroom’s grandfathers, Elton Meat of Kelierton, and Percy Calhoun, Grant City, Mo. ,Donna Kraus was the bride's personal attendant, Sandy Calhoun, sister of the bridegroom, was in charge of the guest book. Gift runners were Susan Cassell and Barbie Calhoun, sisters of the . bride and groom.A reception, with about 100 guests attending, was held at St, Mary's Parish Hall following the wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Omer Troyer were dining room hosts.Mrs. Clair Gill and Mrs, Terry Calhoun, sister-in-law. of the bridegroom, poured; Mrs.Roger Power served the wedding cake. The three-tier cake, topped with a miniature bride and groom, was white, trimmed in light blue and pink.
