Miss Darcy Rhoden and Rodney Judy were united In marriage by the Rev. Paul Jordan at the Petersburg Lutheran Church on Feb. 4. Red roses, white gardenias and candles arranged by Mrs. Carl Tbynes Jr. carried out a valentine theme.Miss Rhoden wore a floor-length gown of white satin which had been worn by her mother and which had originally been the wedding gown of Mrs. Kenneth Welde. Miss Rhoden's veil was a mantilla type floor - length one. she carried a bouquet of red roses, gardenias andIvy.Her attendants were Miss Glenda Hasbrouck, maid of honor, and her cousin, Mrs. Jay Ellis, bridesmaid. Their dresses were floor - length Empire style of red crepe. Miss Hasbrouck carried white roses and Mrs. Ellis carried red roses.The groom's attendantswere Dale Hahn of Juneau and Jay Ellis of RivieraBeach, Fla. Ellis also served as usher with Joey Mor-tensen, a cousin of the bride.Pictures were taken before and following the ceremonyby Roscoe Hoiosen.The valentine theme wascontinued In the decorations at the Elks Ballroom where a reception was held for the young couple following the rites at the church. The reception was supervised by Mrs. Roald Nor-helm.Miss Natalie Nicholson, acousin of the bride, hadcharge of the guestbook.Gifts were displayed by Misses Amy Jo Thompson, Sally Norheim and Shelly Thynes. Paul LeRoy presided at the punch bowl andwas assisted by the bride's brother. Cole Rhoden.9The wedding cake was made by Gordon Parr and served by Mrs. Lloyd Roundtree, following the Initial cut by the newlyweds. Mrs. Ted Smith poured. Music at the church was provided by Mrs. Bob Jones and at the reception by Mrs. Bea Espeseth.The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dorsey Rhoden and is a 1971 graduate of Petersburg HighSchool. Since that time she has worked for Viking Airways.The groom Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Judy of Gig Harbor, Wash. He graduated from Sitka HighSchool In 1964 and Is acommercial pilot.The young people are living In Petersburg for the present In an apartment In the Jerry Kvernvlk house.Out of town guests here for the wedding were Dale Hahn from Juneau, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ellis of Riviera Beach, Fla., and Dr. and Mrs. James Mortensen and son Joey from Ketchikan.
