Pretty WeddingA pretty wedding occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs W. R. Pool on Saturday, February 12, when their only daughter, A^iss Gladys Blanche Fool became tho bride of Lester M Clark of Ottawa, son of Mr and Mrs Willis Clark. Tho ceremony was performed by Rev. O. C. Hansen of Naperville, in tho presence of twenty close relatives and friends. Proceeding the ceremony Miss Frances Gay of Oak Park sang ”Oh Promiso Me '* | She was accompanied by Mrs Vaughn Baxter, who also played x-ohengvln's Wedding March as the young people took their places under a large white wedding bell in the living room The home was attrae-■lively—decora tod—with—pink—mac a., mistletoe and branches of pepper tree, which had been sent by the groom’s parents who a$o now spending tho winter in California The bride was very becomingly dressed to tan crepe Romalnt: with slippers and hose to match She wore a corsage bouquet of sweet peas Immediately after tho ceremony a splendid four course wedding dinner was served Both young people ar*; graduates of the Ottawa High School For the past flve years the brid*i ha? been employed in the State’s Attorney’s oSlce. She Is one of Freedom’s most accomplished and popular young women Tho groom Is a splendid young man of sterling qualities. For the past few years ho has been employed by tho Certainteed Products Company at Marseilles Tho newly weds left in their auto for a weeks trip andrwill bo at homr to their many frientia on the ciarli farm four miles south of Ha-dine after March 26.
