Mrs. Marshall Pink PickardMiss Harriet Angela Graves and Marshall Pink Pickard were united in marriage Saturday, Feb. 15, at 3 p.m. at the Yanceyville Baptist Church, Yanceyville. NX’..The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William D. Graves of Yanceyville. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Franklin Harrison of Heidsville, N.C.. and Gumming Pickard of Cleveland, Ohio.The douhle-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. C. Brown of Ruffin, NX.Music was by Miss Vickie Richmond of Yanceyville and soloist was Paul Robinson Sr. of Yanceyville. .The bride, given in marriage by her family, was escorted by her father.Miss Denise Graves of Winston-Salem, NX., sister of the hride. was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Nancy Pickard of Cleveland, sister of the bridegroom; Miss Valeria Price of Detroit. Mich.; Mrs.Angela Graves of Burlington, NX., and Miss Kay Thompason or Roxboro, NX. Flower girls were Misses Carol and Sharol Graves, twin nieces of the bride, of Burlington.Ring bearers were Master Craig Graves of Blanch. NX., and Master Paul Robinson Jr. of Yanceyville.Clyde Pickard was best man. Ushers were Thomas Settle of Reidsville, Winfred Summers of Brown Summit, NX., Neal Graves of Elizabeth City, NX., brother of the bride, and John Williamson of Yanceyville.After the wedding a reception was held in the fellowship hall of the church. Those assisting were Mrs. Mattie Williamson, Mrs. Julia Graves, Mrs. Rosa Lipscomb. Mrs. .Willie Graves, aunts of the bride. Mrs. Dorothy Lowue's, Mrs. Katie Bowe.
