Arlington Heights, was the setting for the Dee. 27 wedding of the former l.inda Lou Piepenbrink to Philip Richard l.yding, son of Mrs. Virginia l.yding of Portage, Wis. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Piepenbrink of Arlington Heights.The double ring ceremony was performed at 3:30 p.m. by the Rev. Robert O. Bartz before an altar decorated withwhite chrvsanthemums and*gladioli. Red poinsettias and white C hristmas trees decorated the church.Donald Hermann, organist, accompanied Mrs. A. Neuku-catz, who sang “Wedding Prayer.*'THE BRIDE wore a white satin gown styled with long tapered sleeves and trimmed with appliqued lace at bodice, neckline and the hemline ot the full skirt. The detachable train was also ot white satin. Her headpiece, a white satinhow. held her silk illusion veil.She carried a crescent-shaped cascade of white roses, white carnations and a white orchid.Miss Diane Marx of Arlington Heights was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Joyace Kruger. Round I ake, III., and two cousins ot theIJs4Ibride. Sue Grandt of Mount Prospect and C hr is Leonard of Des Plaines.1 he attendants wore A-line gowns of royal blue velvet styled with short sleeves and .Empire bodices. Their headpieces were velvet bows, and they carried crescent-shaped bouquets ot chartreuse star-burst palms and royal blue starflowers.THE BRIDE’S 6 year old cousin. Debbie I homas, was (lower girl. She was dressed like the other attendants andcarried a round bouquet of chartreuse starburst palms and royal blue starflowers.Bruce Piepenbrink, 5-year-old brother ol the hade, was ringbearer. Robert I uecke of La ( rosse, Wis., was the best man. Ushers were Jim Lynch ot Schaumburg, and thebride's brothers. Allen andMark Piepenbrink.I he bride s mother chose a light blue dress with gold braidand iewel-embroidered trim.I he groom's mother wore a brown wool coatdress trimmed with gold buttons. Each had a corsage of pink carnations.AFTER THE ceremony, a dinner reception tor I HOguests was held at the Arlington Heights Elks ( lub. Following the reception, the newlyweds left tor a three-day hon-evmoon at Pheasant Run Lodge. Si ( harlev III.I he bride is a graduate of Arlington High School. I he newlyweds are residing in St.Paul. Minn . where thev are se-0mors at ( oncordia College.After graduation the groomwill attend a seminary in/Springfield, III., and the brideplans to teach.
