Meisenheimer is acting as his deputy at present.Watson Althonse and Ids brothers, Charles and Harry, attended the wedding of their cousin, Elmer Hoover to Miss Mary Ooddington last Thursday, Eeb. 8, at the home of the bride’s parent's in Dover township.Our ice dealers and consumers of ice. during the cold dry weather of last week filled their ice houses with a good quality of ice from eight to ten inches in thickness.On account of the storm of Tuesday Feb. 13th .1, M. Huseman postponed his sale to a later date.The Burlington special train of four cars passed over the branch last Tuesday, Feb. 8th ; stopping here for forty minutes to give a lecture to farmers on agricultural topics. There were two lecturers in each car. Their topic was the subject of seed and raising corn; in the .other ear the rotation of crops wTas the subject. There was a fair attendance and the subjects presented were well handled by the speakers.A number of people from Walnut and vicinity attended the meetings at Princeton last week, and all pronounce Rev. Sunday a wonderful pulpit orator and evangelist. Veritas.
