At the Cathedral yesterday the bans ofmarriage were proclaimed between Mr. K.J. Carter, of Helena, and Miss Louisa Anceney, of Moreland, Gallatin county. Yesterday afternoon quite a party of Helenaitea left for Moreland to be present at the wedding, which was solemnized this morning at the residence of Chas. Anceney, father of the biide. Among the party, beside the groom, were Bishop Brondel, Thomas Cruse. Mr. and Mrs. T. il. Carter, amnel .Schwab and others. After the wedding the happy couple take the Atlantic express to-day to spend the honeymoonin the Last.The contracting parties are well known in Helena. The groom is a younger brother of Attorney T. H. Carter, brother of Mrs. Lang, and brut her-iu-law of Thomas Cruse. He is also a stockholder in the Cruse Savings Bank and Secretary of the same institution. The bride is the accomplished and charming daughter of Mr. Charles Anceney, a wealthy stock grower of Gallatin county, and is a most e.stiinable young lady. Friends of both parties will unite in congratulations over the happy event. The Hekald extends its best wishes.
