Bush-CarperWedding ceremony Saturday, Feb. 3, in Oakland Avenue Baptist church, East Peoria, united the former Anna M. Bush, rural 1,-aura, and Stephen J. Carper, Peoria, formerly of Buda Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Gene Bush, Laura, and parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Klwyn Carper, Buda.The Kev. Mr. Ward officiated the 1 p.m. private ceremony before the immediate families.Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Smith.The bride chose a blue and white street dress, and her attendant was attired in a red street dress.Reception was in the Italian-American hall in Peoria, serving honors going to cousins of the bride. Ed Bush, brother of the bride, was in charge of the guest register.Mr and Mrs Carper are living at 2128 Northeast Jefferson street in Peoria. Mr. Carper is employed at the Caterpillar plant in East Peoria. He is a graduate of Western high school. Mrs. Carper, graduate of Toulon high school, is employed in Princeville.
