Mr. Rhea E. StittWeds WashingtonGirl In FloridaMrs, II. S. Roe, of Highmorc, South Dakota, has announced the marriage of her niece, Miss Katherine Knoop,of Washington, D. C., to Mr. Rhea K. Stitt of* this.,city. The marriage was solemnized in the* Park Temple Methodist church, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, oh January 18, 1940. After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Stittwent on a brief, wedding trip to points in Florida.Mrs. Stitt is employed as reference librarian for the Social Security Board in Washington, IX C.Mr. Stitt, who has resided in Statesville the past ten years, is engaged in research work for the United States department of Agriculture and stationed at the Piedmont* Experiment Station here. He is the son of Mr. Edward, Stitt, of Hitchcock, South Dakota.Mr; and Mrs. Stilt will be at home in Statesville after the fifteenth of May.
