Holmes-Gooding. jTwo prominent old families of central Ohio were united t{) the marriage of Miss Alice Holmes to Arthur Hooding. Feb. 11. at ;i p. m, at the residence of the bride's par-jents. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Holmes at Westerville. The bride looked beautiful in a gown of white satin with georgette. She carried a bou-quet of roses, the gift of the groom.; '.Members of her club gowned in | white were in attendance and served in many capacities. Miss KuthlBrundage sang “Dawning*’ and “O Promise Me. Mrs. Theodore Beal played the wedding march. The marriage ceremony was performed■by Itev. Thomas Kohr. The impressive double ring ceremony v as us-ed. The services throughout wereillmarked with elegant simplicity.The jlecorations were in pink andwhite. Sweet peas and pink candles were used to bring out the settings.iShe was unattended to the altar.Dainty refreshments were served. About fifty guests were present.
