Frasier, the Island Ford mao who was recently acquitted in the Circait coart here on a charge of Wife murder, on last Saturday pro cared a license at Stanardsville, Greene coonty, to marry Mies Minnie Lee Frasier, daughter of Henry and Elisa Frasier, of Frazier’s mountain.It cannot be learned whether the marriage has yet been performed or not.Frasier's wife, Mrs. Mollie Frazier died on October 4th last at tbeir home near Island Ford, and her death was the subject of a great deal of comment in the Island Ford neighborhood.In fact, this gossip even went so far with several people that the dead woman was said to have made a death bed statement in which she declared that her husband had treated her brutally. Frasier was arrested and Indicted by the grand jury. After •pending about a month in th« Rockingham county jail he was acquitted. An infant, several weeks old, died shortly after being taken to the I € Episcopal Mission Home, in Greene I j county. 0L Frasier is the father of six iivingW children, who were placed in the care If of Rev.
