A Tribute To Deceased ParentsThe above pillar, which is placed to the left of the entrance, ears the following inscription: BLUEBONNET HILL MEMORY GARDENS. The entrance pillars were erected in fond remem-rance of my parents, Ceasar and Donnie Hatchett. Their loving on, Ernest Hatchett and his wife Eloise. 1974.A duplicate pillar placed to the right of the entrance is in-cribed as follows: BLUEBONNET HILL MEMORY GARDENS, 974. We have loved them dearly during life. Let us not abandon hem until we have conducted them by our prayers into the House f the Lord. Ernest and Eloise Hatchett..ERNEST AND ELOISE HATCHETTErnest E. Hatchett, who was rn and grew up in Shiner, ivaca County, Texas, worked the Bloomington Independent ■hool District for forty-three ars before retiring in May 69. During his forty-three ars as a school man, he sub-itted only one letter of appli-tion and one for resignation, lere were many accomplishes during his educational reer, all of which was spent Bloomington. In 1948 a new lool was built, which was med E. E. Hatchett Elemen-ry School, in his honor. He wed as a principal until in 66 when full integration was lugurated in his district and became Title I director in theVlr. and Mrs. Allen Esse and i Howard of Corpus Christi re weekend visitors in Shin-government aid-to-education program and supervisor of special education.He lost his wife, Marion, in 1969 and was married to his present wife, Eloise in 1970. They reside in Dallas.Last summer the Hatchetts visited his birthplace and where his parents were buried. They contacted members of the community about placing entrance markers to the Bluebonnet Hill Memory Gardens Cemetery in memory of his parents, Caesarand Donnie Hatchett. Theyreadily agreed and this project became a reality.R. J.
