Service Read RopesvilleThe marriage of Miss Florence Elaine Nix and Billy Glynn Odom was read February 3 to high noon in First Methodist Church in Ropesville.The Rev. R. I. Hart read thedouble ring ceremony before analtar flanked with baskets of white gladioli with a background of greenery.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Nix of Ropesville. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Odom of Ropesville are parents of the bridegroom.The bride wore a mauve suitwith rhinestone buttons with navyand white accessories. She • rried a bouquet of gardenias and white feathery carnations on a Bible.Miss Kay Armstrong of Ropesville was maid of honor. She wore a blue suit with navy and white accessories and a corsage of dark pink roses.Donald Gene Jones of Ropesville was best man. Ushers were Roy Armstrong of Lubbock and Robert Robinson of Ropesville.Preceding the ceremony, Mrs L. V. Reazin, pianist, accompanied Miss Glenda Bevers as she sang “The Lord’s Prayer.” Traditional wedding marches were played.The couple is at home at 919 33rd St. in Lubbock following a wedding trip to New Mexico.
