Miss Marjorie Hines, daughter of Mrs. Florence Hines of 415 South 16th St. in Murphysboro, and Joe Grace of Gorham. 111., were married at 8:00 p. m.. February 1, in Hernando, Miss.! The bride wore a dressmaker suit, black accessories and a gardenia corsage. jShe graduated from the Murphysboro Township High School with ; the class of 1938, is a member ofj the First Baptist church.*Mr. Grace, son of Mr. and Mrs. ] William Grace of Gorham. 111., is agraduate of the Gorham schools, a ! member of the American Legion, the Elks Lodge and the MethodistChurch. He served 45 months in the U. S. Navy, with the rating of 1 Chief Specialist in Athletics, re-1 ceiving his discharge on October16, 1945.He is a professional baseball player with the Washington Senators of the American League.Mrs. Grace will live at the home of her mother, 415 South 16th St., •until May when she will join herhusband in Washington, I). C.
