They exchanged vows in the Immaculate Conception Church ivitU the Rev. Neal Murphy of-'icialing.Tlie bride, daughter of Mr. and Mi's. Ray Scoby, chose a ’Own of traditional white satin .vilii an overskirt of Chantilly nee encircling the Cathedral length dress. Her long pointed ileuves were also of lace and .he scoop neck was outlined vitk seed pearls.Her full length veil was of iiusion net which was attached lo a crown of seed pearls tccentcd with rhinestones. Her inly accessories were a choker dranrt of pearls and stud carings to match which were a lift from the bridegroom. White -oscs and lily of the valley ormod her bouquet.Mrs. JoAnn Moser was maid if honor, wearing a light blue jrocadcd taffeta princess style tress with matching velvet rifain n outlining the high waist-inc. She carried yellow chrysanthemums,Bridesmaids were Miss Bar-ara Trigg and Miss Linda Rock-itead wearing copen blue dresses to match. Their bouquets vcre yellow chrysanthemums, rheir blue julict caps were rimmed wilh identical biuc net niffs and accented wilh liny )1uc flowers.Miss Patty Ann Schroeder, niece of' the I'riclegroom, was the flower girl. She wore a pale blue net dress trimmed with blue velvet bows over white taffeta and carried a basket of rose petals.Joseph Buzby. nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer, and carried the rings on a heart shaped white satin pillow.In the absence of her parents. the bride was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, AJvin Schroeder. and Mrs. Georgia Lee Schroeder acted as her mother.Mrs. Schroeder choose a purple jersey sheath and wore an orchid corsage.The bridegroom’s mother was lovely in a pale blue ensemble. Her dress and jacket were of lace with matching three quarter length gloves and shoes. She wore a pillbox hat of velveteen and an orchid cnrsagc.The bridegroom, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence P. Davcy, was attended by Frederick Day. Ushers were Robert Kapelowitz and Lawrence Hitchcock.Miss Shirley Foote provided organ music one! Mrs. AI Que-beman was soloist.The reception followed the ceremony at the Llks Club, Those assisting at the reception were Miss Sharon Boucher, Miss Nancy Crosby, Miss Joan Berry, Miss Loucllc Noyes, Miss Joan flume. Mrs. Sam Buzby, Mrs. Clarence Nelson and Mrs. Russell Day.The bride attended the Uni-•ersity of Alaska until her narriagc. Her husband will re-umc his studies at the Univerity of Alaska this fall.
