Rev.♦R. .R. Bran ton performed the impressive ceremony.Ark., as flower girl, wore identical dresses o fhell pink taffeta, withbride and bridegroom, their parents and the wedding party.Tall white candles, reflected pin points of light on ‘lie high’.v polished table holding the bride’s book, over which Mrs. James Ferguson of Shreveport, presided.fitted empire bodices, scalloped ! Spicy shell pink carnations nod-njockiines and bouffant floor length skirts. Little Miss Roane carried a colonial bouquet of pink roses and stcphanotis, while the small flower girl carried a basket of pink roses.All attendants wore identical halos of pink horsehair braid andorrThe living room was transformed into a replica of a small chapel.The colonial fireplace was banked with southern smiiax. and an arrangement of white gladioli, stock, white chrysanthemums and whftC camellias, was centered on the mantel. Cascading from the arrangement were graceful garlands of specimen white camellias. Tall twin floor standards, holding fan shaoed arrangements of flowers, in delicate shades of pink, were placed on either side of the mantel. Four low standards, linked with bridal white silk cord.fastened to which were colonial»bouquets of white camellias andchrysanthemums, outlined thearea of the bridal party.Preceding the ceremony, Mrs. Alex T. Hunt at the piano, rendered soft nuptial music, and accompanied Mrs. Robert U. Parrott of Alexandria, who sang ‘’Because by D'Hardelof. before the rendition of Lohengrin’s traditional wedding march.Miss Yvonne Brett of Monroevelvet tubing, with a cluster pink roses at each side.All participants in the wedding, with the exception of the maid of honor and junior bridesmaid, were cousins of the bride.The bride, entering on the arm of her father, was radiantly beautiful in her bridal gown of candlelight ivory duchess satin. It wasfashioned with a voke of sheer«illusion, which formed a floren-tine neckline and was edged by a wide band of handrun aleneon lace. The tightly moulded bodice was complimented by long tight sleeves, which came to petal points over her hands.The extremely full flared skirt, accented by appliques of aleneon lace, extended in soft folds from the v-shaped waistline, to a wide | fan shaped train. Her finger tip veil of illusion was held in place by a Juliet cap, fashioned of illusion and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of lilies of the valley, and Holland lilacs, centered with a white orchid. She chose a single strand of pearls, belonging to her mother, as herwas the maid of honor. Her corsage was of gardenias.The mother of the groom was attired in an afternoon dress ofded above an exquisitely dressed little bride doll.In the dining room the table was laid with a floor length cloth of bridal illusion over white satin. Garlands of maiclen hair fern gracefully festooned the table, held in place with nosegays of white camellias, violets and lace.
