Rev. Father Mac kin officiating. The ceremony preceded the celebration of mass at eight o'clock and mas marked by an elegant simplicity. In spite of the early hour, the church mas well filled with friends and relatives of the bride and groom. The bride made a charming picture, gowned in white silk crepe over blue tafTeta trimmed with ductless lace. She more a hat and carried brides’ roses. Miss Rose Lagomarcino mas gowned in white silk mulle. mlth a hat to match, and carried carnations.Following the ceremony a breakfn.st w as served at the commodious home of the bride's parents on Prospect hill and mas attended only by the relatives os the bride and groom. A dinner man also served at » o'clock this afternoon and this evening a party complimentary to the many young friends of the bride and groom will be given at Knights of Columbus hall. Vogt’s orchestra will play. Mrs. Adams caterer The wedding colors are pink, blue and white. This scheme whs followed ir. the decoration of the tables and the hall for the party this evening.Mrs. Dempsey is the second daughte of Mr. and Mrs. A .Lagomarcino. She is a womanly young woman of delightful personality and possesses a wealth of accomplishments that are not all ornamental by any means. The vivacity of her disposition is well balanced by her practical common sens* She is endowed with all the virtues that contribute to the essential of the ideal wife.Mr. Dempsey Is connected with the branch house of the Lagomarcino «V Grupe Co. in Ottumwa. He was born and reared in this city and is the son oi Mrs. Julia Dempsey of No. 1421 Grove street. He is a fine, steady young fellow and is destined to Rome day rfrhieve success in the business world. Both Mr. and Mr*. Dempsey nave him-oreds of friends in this city who regret to see them make their home elsewhere, but who wish them the best of happiness wherever they -go.They leave tormorrow for their new home in Ottumwa and will be at home tc their friends after March 1.
