Music was provided by John Cousins, trumpeter, and Carolyn Herl, organist.The bride is the daughter of Jane and Lynn Silva of Ashtabula and the late Robert Taylor. The groom’s parents are Sherry and Carl Schwotzer of Jefferson.For her wedding the bride chose an A-line gown fashioned with an off-the-shoulder neckline and floral embroidered bodice adorned with seed pearls and crystal beads. The skirt featured a cathedral train. She added a cathedral-length veil with a pearl and rhinestone headpiece.The groom was attired in a Ralph Lauren tuxedo with white paisley vest and bow tie.Serving her sister as honor attendant was Kristine Pindel of Hartville. Bridesmaids included Tracy Schwotzer of Columbus, sister of the groom, and Lisa Vespoli of Cuyahoga Falls. Junior attendants were Amanda and Bobby Taylor, niece and nephew of the bride, Kirsten and Keston Schwotzer, niece and nephew of the groom.The groom’s brother, Britt Schwotzer of Jefferson, served as best man. Groomsmen included Robert Taylor of Ashtabula, brother of the bride, and Marty Bowman of Columbus.Among those receiving flowers was the bride’s grandmother, Emily Taylor of Ashtabula.MR. and MRS. RYAN SCHWOTZER (Rebecca Taylor)A reception honoring the couple followed at Andrus Party Center.The bride, a 1990 graduate of Edgewood Senior High School, received a master’s degree in audiology from Kent State University in 1996. She is employed with Vista Hearing Instruments in Ashtabula. The groom is a 1991 graduate of Jefferson Area High School. He is employed as a mill-wright/piledriver journeyman.The couple reside in Ashtabula.
