Jr., were married in acandlelight ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Bethel Baptist Church. The ceremony at 5:30 p.m. was performed by the Kev. I^ake Thompson and the Kev, Wallace C. Lowe.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Herron of Aiken and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B.Williamson of Edgefield.Wedding music was presented by Mr. R. C. Cok and Mr.Jack Thompson. Vows were .spoken before a background of ^UuUYuCltl VJpalms, mass arrangements ofgladioli and carnations and lighted tapers in cathedral candela-carried a lace covered Bible topped with a white orchid corsage.A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bride s sister, Mrs. Adie Widener. Another sister, Mrs. Margie Ford, kept the bride's book. Assisting in serving guests were Mrs. Louise Dorsett, Mrs. Rita Rire-due, and Mrs. Pansy Grover.For a wedding trip to an unannounced destination, the bride wore a pink wool suit with the orchid from her bouquet. Ushers were Mr. Danny Grove, nephew of the bride, and Mr. Clifford Williamson, brother of the groom.Miss L. V. Herron, sister ofthe bride, was maid of honor. They were gowned alike in street-length dresses of blue satin designed with oval necklines, elbow length sleeves and bouffant skirts Their bandeaux were of blue satin with matching veils and they carried cascade bouquets of white carnations.Miss Donna Bayn ham, niece of the bride, was flower girl..She wore a dress of blue satin and bandeau identical to the other attendants and carried a basket of rose petals.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-Icngth dress of bridal satin fashioned with a rounded neckline and elbow-length sleeves trimmed with seed pearls.
