McMEEKIN-CATOROn Wednesday, January 2?th, Mi*. George MeMeekin and Mrs. Pearl Cator were united in marriage at the United Brethren parsonage at Seward, with the Rev. Reece, officiating. This estimable couple nedd no introduction, as both have lived practically all of their lives in this community. Mrs. McMeckin is eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Strain, and for the past seven years has been a very efficient helper in her father's furniture and undertaking business in Shelby. Mr. McMeek-in is one of Polk county's most successful farmers and for a number of years has been secretary of the Farmers Co-Operative Business Association at Shelby, Mr. and Mr3. MeMeekin returned home Thursday, and went to housekeeping on the groom's farm located seven miles northeast of Shelby.
