H AN SON - LIN DE EN NUPTIALSA lovely home wedding, simple but extraordinarily pretty took place Tuesday afternoon. February 2nd, when Miss Bertha Lindeen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. VV. Lindeen of Fort Dodge became the bride of Howard E. Hanson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew S. Hanson of this city.The ceremony was performed at four o’clock' at the home of the bride’s parents, by the Rev. Oscar A. Benson of Chicago, brother in law of the bridegroom.The bride, who was charmingly gowned in orchid chiffon and carried a bouquet of sweetheart rosses, came down the stairway, on the arm of her father, to tne strains of Men-dohlson’s wedding march played by Mrs. Emil Olin of Albert City. They were preceded by Beverly Lindeen of Des Moines, flower girl, Homer Egenes, ring bearer, and Miss Mildred Ek-x, - and of Webster City, who served as bride’s maid. Miss Ekstrand was dressed in soft green and carried an arm bouquet. The flower girl was dressed in a dainty frock of orchid and green and tiie ring bearer was dressed in white.Mr. Hanson, with his attendant, Malcolm Lindeen, awaited his bride in an iu provised altar at one corner of the room where a white canopy had been erected and a large wedding bell hung from above. Banking the whole, were lovely ferns.Preceding the ceremony, Miss Frances Rydlund sang, “0 Promise Me” and directly after the ceremony, “1 Love You Truly” and ‘‘At Dawning.” Following the marriage a wedding dinner was served to forty relatives and close friends The table carried out the bride’s color scheme of orchid and green.The occasion being the Fortieth wedding anniversary of the bride’s parents, an improm tu program was held during the evening, toasts being given by the guests to both weddingcouples.Mr. and Mrs. Hanson left for a week’s wedding trip, their destination being kept secret. Upon their return, they will be at home at Ft. Dodge, where they are both employed.— ACA-ft ll
