MarriedMiss Margaret Dunn, only daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs, Harold Dunn and Carl Elfervig, son of Mr. and Mrs, L. Elfervig, of Leiand, wero quietly married at tho Lutheran parsonage in Aurora Friday mominp February 6, at 8 o’clock. The bnde wore a very becoming dress of blonde canton crepe and georgette with slippers, hose and nat to match. She has lived In this vicinity all her life until last fall when she went to Aurora, where she has worked since. She is very popular and has many friends here who wish her happiness. Mr. Etfervig lived in Leiand until about a year ago when he went to Aurora and he is now in the employ of the Burlington railroad. They will be at home to their friends after February 15, at 475 Parker avenue.Shower for Yoaag MatronMrs. Carl Klforng. of Aurora*, a recent bride, was guest of honor at a miscellaneous shower last Saturday afternoon. The hostesses were Mrs. Donald Pool and Miss Ethel Cody and the party was held at the Cody home. Sixty-five relatives and dose friends attended. Red and white carnations, hearts and cupids were used for decoration. Several games were played. Just before serving lunch announcement was made of the wedding of the previous morning This was a surprise to many of the guests. Mrs. Elfervig was formerly Miss Margaret Punn. She received a fine collection of gifts to help furnish her new home. Guests from a distance were Mrs. Hans Elfervig, of Galesburg, Mrs. Amos Vermeland and Mrs, Ray Leech and (laughter Myrtle of Aurora and Mrs, Roscoe Lynn of Eartvilie.
