Large baskets of these were at each sidei of the sanctuary and the pews were draped with white ribbons[ with yellow rose-chrysanthemumj decorations.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown and coat created by Edith Vincent for Alfred Angelo. The imported silk shantung ensemble was beaded with crystals and pearls and accented with delicate Alencon lace appliques on the bodice of the coat, and pendant sleeves and stand-up collar, all embroidered and accented with crystals and pearls. The coat was designed with Empire waistline and graceful sweeping train.
