On Saturday, February 2nd, at : Ottawa, Illinois, Miss Dorothy Yate9 and Mr. Elmer Uuppert were united in marriage.We ai'e unable to give our readers •my details of this happy event.Miss Dorothy is the only daughter r'f Mr. and Mrs. Amos Yates, formerly of Thomson but novr of Ohio, 111. She attended the public school in Thomson and assisted in the restaurant Miss Dorothy is of quiet pleasing disposition and like her mother is very talented .in culinary art.The groom was employed 00 the road construction thru Ohio last summer. We have not learned where the new home will be. Congratulations are extended.
