Happy Couple Leave This Morning for Trip to England on the Ivernia, Boston, Feb. 8.—John L. Sullivan, former heavyweight champion pugilist of the world, was married here to Miss Katherine Hartnett. She is about Sullivan’s own age, and is re ported to own considerable real estate. The ceremony was performed by a bishop at the home of Miss Mary Hart nett in Roxbury. After the marriage Mr. and Mrs. Smiggan boarded the steamship Ivernia which was sched uled to sail for England this morning.
