Margaretta Edson Poler Weds In Long IslandAnnouncement has been made of the marriage of Miss Margaretta Edson Poler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Edson Poler of Huntington, L.I., formerly of Bronxville, to Dr. John Flint Ferguson, son of Dr. and Mrs. John P. Ferguson of Springfield, Mo.The wedding took place last Jan. 31 in Old First Church Jn Huntington with the Rev. Dr. Stanert Dransfield officiating.Maid of honor was Miss Cornelia Keller of New York City. James Ferguson of Springfield, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.After a wedding trip toSwitzerland and France, the couple will reside in Madison, Conn.Mrs. Ferguson was graduated from the Kent School in Connecticut, Bradford Junior College and the University of Michigan. She studied also at the International Christian University in Tokyo on a grant from the Japan Society. Until her marriage she worked as editorial assistant with Time Magazine in New York City.Dr. Ferguson was graduated from Yale University and St. Louis University School of Medicine. He is presently a surgical intern at the Yale-New Haven Hospital.
