Wetzel officiated at the private ceremony.The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hodson_ of Milan, and Mr. Monson is the son of August Monson, SOI E. 4th St., Aledo, and the late Mrs. Monson.Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carroll,Aledo, son-in-law and daughter of the bridegroom, attended the couple.The bride wore a gown of beige lace over satin with three-quarter length sleeves, molded bodice and full skirt. Her headpiece was a cap of velvet flowers trimmed with net, and she had beige accessories and a white carnationcorsage. ~The matron of honor’s gown wasBetrothedMRS. DEWET MONSONof blue lace over .taffeta with molded bodice and full skirt. Her blue headpiece was styled like the bride’s hat, and her corsage was of pink carnations. She had pink and blue accessories.The reception was held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hodson, Coal Valley, brother and sister-in-law of the bride. After a short weddings trip to Wisconsin,' the couple will reside at 920% 22nd St., Rock Island.Mrs. Monson is employed by the Modern Printing Co., Moline; and her husband, at East Moline Works, International Harvester Co.
