Beulah Rebecca Smith, be-came the bride of 1’rivute Ira G. ^ Houck, Three Hundrel and Eouvttri ( Engineer Corps, Camp Monde, Md. The ceremony was performed by the 11 bride’s pastor, Rev. llartzell, of ' Glade charge, in the presence of the immediate families unj friends of the I ^ young couple.Miss Edna Smith, slater of the fli iibride, was maid of honor, and Mr Harvey Houck, brother of the groom, waH best man. The wed ling march was played by Mrs. R. Paul Smith.The bride wore a p.own of white eharmouse with pearl ornaments, and carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses and white carnations. The maid of honor wore pink batiste, draped in L blue chiffon and carried pink carnations. The groom wore the U. S. army regulation uniform.After the ceremony an old-time country dinner, consisting of roast nhticken, with dressing, country ham saials, ice cream, cakes, fruits, etc. was served. After dinner the happy couple left on a short honeymoon Their destination not being given. The bride wore a traveling suit of navy blue cloth, with gray shoes and furs.At present they will reside at the home of the bride.Mrs. Houck Is well known socially and religiously in 'her homo community, having been organist at St John’s lteftv me,| Sunday school for some time.Mr. Houck is formerly of Eewis-town, being a member of the firm of Goosey Bros., well known contract ors, of that place. He has also taken an active interest in religious work being for some time past superintendent of the Methodist Sunday school of that place.The couple received nnnv useful gifts.
