Marriage—Miss Strother, daughter of the late Hon. F. G. Strother, formerly member of Con- ! gress, was married in Brussels, on the4th instant, to Baron Philp Fahnenburg de Bingheim. The marriage took place at the Legation ot the United States. The salons of the legation were decorated for the occasion with the star spangled banner, upon which the Austrian Hag had been draped in the manner of an escutcheon. After the ceremony, a wedding breakfast united around the table of the American minister some twenty persons, the friends of both families.
