Announce Betrothal Of Hillside TeacherMrs. Nathaniel Sofman, of 62 South Maple avenue. East Orange, has annunced the engagement of herdaughter, Zelda Ruth, to John McArthur Dusmore Walch, son of Mrs Donald Elbra Walch, of Barrington, P I., and the late Mr. Walch.A graduate of East Orange High School and Montclair State Teachers College. Miss Sofman is ,a fifth grade teacher in Hillside Avenue School. She is a member of Beta Sigman Phi Sorority. Mr. Walch is an alumnus of Barrington (R.I.J High School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology A member of Delta Tau Delta, he served 2’A years with the Army Engineers in the South Pacific and is now an electrical engineer with Public Service Electric and Gas Co.. Newark. A June wedding is planned. --
