Rozeboom, De Boer United. . r . • . . •The Netherlands Reformed Ohrirch at Rock Valley was setting of the wedding for Miss .Jennieva Rozeboom of Alvoid, Iowa and Willis A. Den Boer of Rock Valley, Friday, January 12, . 1973 at 7:30 p.m. Rev, John Van Zwedeo officiated.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Rozeboom of Alvord, Iowa and Mrs, Andrew Den Boer.The bride was adorned in a gown of peau de sot over taffeta with lace appliques on the skirt and the empire bodice. The gown also featured bouffant sleeves ending in a wide cuff featuring a ruffle and a cuffle at the hem of the dress.She wore a lace trimmed mantilla veil, A cascade of red roses and pink carnations was carried by the bride.Cara Rozeboom, niece, of the bride served as maid of tionor. She wore a gown, of pink chiffon over taffeta featuring an empire waistline with red velvet trim, bouffant sleeves ending in a wide cuff at the wrists, with a stand-up ruffle collar and a ruffle at the hem of the dtess. She carried a large football mum..The bride’s mother wore a long sleeved navy velour dress with white trim. The groom’s mother wore a light blue long sleeved polyester crepe sheath. Some of the added accents were a stand-slit hero on one side. They both wore corsages of a white orchid with two piiok carnations,- Loren Groeneweg served as best man. Ushers were Harry Rozeboom and Gerrit Rozeboom.Organist Was Mrs, TeunisG, Rozeboom.A: reception followed the ceremony at the Rock Valley Christian School Gymnasium. Theguest vrere registered by Martena Spaaps. Mr. Teunis G, Rozeboom served as Master of Cereh monies. The bottom layer was four heart shaped pieces, with swans separating,. The top was also heart shaped adorned with a satin bells and pink lilies of the valley.It was trimmed in the bride's colors pink and red.The bride wore her wedding gown for het : going away outfit.The couple will be making their home on a farm six west and one-half south of Rock Valley.
