MissKanter BecomesTheBridOfotRosenAdath Israel Synagogue, Trenton, was the setting for the Jan. 23rd marriage of Miss Phyllis Jerri Kanter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon S, Kanter of Trenton and Bristol, to Elliot Rosen, son of Dr. and Mrs. LeonardRosen of Camden, N.J.The ceremony was performed by Rabbi S. Joshua Kohen, Rabbi M. Weine, Rabbi J. Funk, and Rabbi J. Wcrnik. A reception was held at the synagogue after theceremonyEscorted by her father, the bride was attired in an ensemble featuring a f 1 o o r-length gown of ivory satinfaced peau de soie and a matching coat. The gown was fashioned with an empire t ice and an A-line skirt terminating in a cathedral train. A matching pillbox trimmed with lace and pearls held the bride’s bouffant veil, and she carried a white Bible with•:*i*white orchids.Hedv Strauss of Trenton served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Linda Russell of Newton, Mass,, and Karen and Pamela Kanter of Trenton, sisters of the bride.The attendants wore floor-length gowns of blue velvet designed with empire bodices and brief sleeves. They chose bow headpieces with veils and carried bouquets of flowers dyed to match their gowns.Samuel Rosen of Camden served as his brother’s best man. Ushers included Randall Kanter of Trenton, brother of the bride; Lee Diamond of Union, N.J., and Steven Rosen of Cherry Hill, N.J., cousin of the groom.* *After a honeymoon trip to Washington. D.C., and thesouthern states, the newlyweds are residing in New York City, N.Y.The bride is a senior at Douglass College, New Brunswick, N. J. The groom received a bachelor of arts degree from Rutgers University.
