Hirai In RitesThe 20th Ward LDS Chape! was the scene of the recent wedding of IDona Rae Hogg and Harvey M„ Hirai,Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs, Carl Hogg of 1402 Ammon. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hirai of Jerome.TJie F p.m. ceremony was performed by Bishop Dale Dunn. Wedding music was provided by ArviTla Crosbaw and included a duet by Mrs, Lillian Lish and Don Windley.The bride appeared in a floor-length gown of white chiffon over satin in an empire style. The bodice was low cut and featured bell-shaped sleeves with wide cuffs. Trim was wide lace on the bodice ana tie inline. Costume was completed with an elbow length veil. The bride carriedyellow roses and white carnations,Adele Hogg, wearing a yellow floor-length empire dress was maid of honor for her sister, The gown had floral trim at the waist.Matron of honor was Mrs. Kathy Allen, attired similarly to the maid oi honor.Bridesmaids included Myina Hogg, sister af the bride, Maureen Hirai, sislcr cf the bridegroom; Nancy Crabtree, Julie Palmer and Lisa Dench, cousin of the bride. Their gowns were long apricot empire designs. Each carried a single yellow rose. Split carnations and roses were used in attendants' head-dresses.Deanna Bench was flower girl, A cousin of the bride, she was seen in a yellow empire dress.Her basket was filled wil daisies and roses,William Hirai, a cousin of tli bridegroom, was rlngbearer, Steve Hirai served as be? man for his brother. Perforir ing the duties of ushers were Tit Barrington, Glenn Whipple, an Rio and Allen Hirai, brothers c Uie bridegroom.A reception In the 23rd War Cultural Hall followed the cers mony. Decorations were yellcr and apricot. Mrs. Kaye Hunte presided at the guestbook. Gift were received by Pam Shelley Mrs, LaRae Wood, Jolene Wind ley and Barbara Bn It head. Aid ing with refreshments wer Kelly Stfmsou, Dianne Crugg Call Amos and Tracy Hone After a honeymoon in Idah Falls, the couple have taken uj residence in Wendell where the' are engaged in farming.
