Marilyn Prazak Shower Honoree in Wharton Nov. 29The Wharton Community Room was the* netting of a miscellaneous bridal shower honoring Miss Marilyn Prazak, bride-elect of Frank L. Jedlicka on Sunday afternoon, November 29 at 2:00 p.m.Upon arrival Marilyn,her mother, Mrs. Vencil II. Prazak, her future mother-in-law, Mrs. Frank Jedlicka, his grandmother, Mrs Stanley Luchak were each presented beautiful yellow carnation corsages and escorted to a white lace covered table upon which was centered a purple chrysanthemum arrangement.Miss Bernadette Jedlicka introduced the bride-to-be to the large gn»up of ladies present.Miss Cheryl Prazak read the toast to the bride. Then the gifts were opened and presented to thehonoree. The hostesses gift was a G. E. electric frying pan.Unknown to Marilyn, one of the girls kept a tally on her remarks which were read to everyone after the opening of the gifts. This brought a lot of good humor.Marilyn, very graciously thanked the ladies for their generous gifts and especially for coming to make this a joyous occasionRefreshments were then served and consisted ofchicken salad sandwiches,a variety of cakes, chips,THREEpickles and a grape punch.Hostesses for the occasion were Mrs. Agnes Po-lak.
