Crowder Tuesday afternoon at four o'clock complimented Miss Martha Lee Mathews, whose marriage to Claude P. Henry, Jr., will takeplace December 31st.A group of the honoree's friends were already present at the Crowder home when the honoree arrived. Miss Mathews was presented many useful kitchen articles, all placed in a huge tablecloth.After the gifts had been opened, the group of twenty enjoyed refreshment consisting of sandwiches, cookies and coffee.Piano selections by severalguests provided further entertainment.Mrs. James Mathews and Miss Mary Cherry were co-hostesses for the shower.1\/T inn i\/r n 1 TTT ____
