Engagement Announced . Yesterday To Mr. Brown Of Louisville.Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Hamilton, Jr., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mavin, to Mr.?Eli Huston Brown, III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Huston Brown, Jr., of Louisville, Ky.Miss Hamilton attended The Master’s School, Hobbs Ferry, N.- Y., and is a graduate of Miss Hart-ridge’s School, Plainfield, N. J., and of Vassar College. She also was a student at the Universities of Paris, Nancy and Geneva. Miss Hamilton was presented to society at the Bachelors’ Cotillion' of Baltimore In December, 1930.Miss Hamilton Is the granddaughter. of the late ex-Governor and Mrs. W. T. Hamilton, of Maryland, and of Mr. and Mrs; John Vincent Jamison, of Hagerstown.Mr. Brown is a graduate of the Hun School, Princeton, N. J., of Princeton University,. and ‘ of the Harvard Law School. He is now associated with the law firm of Brown and Brown.On the maternal side, Mr. Brown is descended from the distinguished Crittenden family, which has givenGovernors to Kentucky, Missouri,•Tennessee and Utah.
